bismillah

Alam tara anna alfulka tajree fee albahri biniAAmati Allahi liyuriyakum min ayatihi inna fee thalika laayatin likulli sabbarin shakoor(in)

Do you not see that the ship sails into the sea by the favour of Allah-SWT , that He-SWT might show you His-SWT signs? Verily therein are Signs for every persevering, grateful heart.

(31:31)

Waitha ghashiyahum mawjun ka(al)ththulali daAAawoo Allaha mukhliseena lahu a(l)ddeena falamma najjahum ila albarri faminhum muqtasidun wama yajhadu biayatina illa kullu khattarin kafoor(in)

And when a wave covers them like awnings, they call upon Allah-SWT making their faith pure for Him-SWT . Then when He-SWT delivers them on the land, only some of them keep to the middle course. And none denies Our Signs save each perfidious, ingrate one.

(31:32)

Ya ayyuha a(l)nnasu ittaqoo rabbakum wa(i)khshaw yawman la yajzee walidun AAan waladihi wala mawloodun huwa jazin AAan walidihi shayan inna waAAda Allahi haqqun fala taghurrannakumu alhayatu a(l)ddunya wala yaghurrannakum bi(A)llahi algharoor(u)

O mankind! Fear your Rabb-SWT and dread the Day whereon no father will atone for his son and no son will atone for his father at all. Verily the Promise of Allah-SWT is true. Let not the life of this world beguile you, and let not the great beguiler beguile you in regard to Allah-SWT .

(31:33)

Inna Allaha AAindahu AAilmu a(l)ssaAAati wayunazzilu alghaytha wayaAAlamu ma fee alarhami wama tadree nafsun matha taksibu ghadan wama tadree nafsun biayyi ardin tamootu inna Allaha AAaleemun khabeer(un)

Verily Allah-SWT ! With Him-SWT Alone is the Knowledge of the Hour, and He-SWT it is Who-SWT sends down the rain, and knows what is in the wombs. And no person knows in what he will earn tomorrow; and no person knows in what land he will die. Verily Allah-SWT is Knowing, Aware.

(31:34)

In The Name of Allah-SWT the Most Gracious, The Most Merciful
SECRETS OF REVELATION:

Do you not observe how huge vessels sail through the deep oceans, carrying shipments of Allah-SWT’s bounties and means of living for mankind? Allah-SWT has given you intelligence to take cognisance of His-SWT Magnificence. He-SWT has given the water and the wood their peculiarities, and has given you the understanding. Yet only those having a spirit of gratitude can appreciate these Signs. When people are trapped in a turbulent sea and the waves appear as if it is a cloud continuously rising towards them, everyone of them calls out to Allah-SWT with full devotion. In this moment of turmoil they cannot think of anyone save Him-SWT . And when Allah-SWT rescues them to shore, some persevere on the Unity of Allah-SWT , and while most of them revert to polytheism. They deliberately refute the Signs of Allah-SWT being habitual liars and wander far away from the truth.

Father And Son Will Be Of No Avail To One Another

O’ People! Abstain from Allah-SWT’s disobedience and fear the Day when neither a father will be able to help his son, nor will a son avail his father. In other words, mere lineage will be of no value. If a father is a believer and his son dies a non believer, the former will be unable to help the latter. The eternal bonds are based on faith while the ties of kinship are merely for procreation purposes and will no longer be necessary. However, if both the father and the son transit to the Aakhirah as believers, they will be tied by faith as well as kinship, which shall deepen the love and affection amongst them. They shall then be able to intercede for one another (for details refer to the relevant Ahadith and Commentaries of the Quran). All these matters are predestined. When Allah-SWT declares that something will happen, it surely will, for Allah-SWT’s Promise is ever forthright. People must not ignore these realities in the pursuit of mundane wealth, power or authority. This temporary power or wealth is merely an illusion, so let not Satan divert you away from His-SWT way. Satan indeed is a great deceiver.

Allah-SWT ’s Knowledge

And also be aware that the beginning as well as the end of affairs, is only known to Allah-SWT . Only He-SWT knows when the Doomsday will be established, and this world shall come to an end. The rain pours down by His-SWT Command and only He-SWT knows what lies inside a womb. No one knows what will befall him the next day and where and when he will die. Undoubtedly Allah-SWT knows and is Aware of everything. Here the question arises that some information has been passed down by the Prophets-AS while the prophecies and spiritual visions of some Aulia’ and the conjectures of astrologers also prove to be true at times. And today science is able to tell whether the unborn baby is a male or a female.

This question has been dealt with at length by the scholars. It suffices here to mention that these sources so not disclose the details which are in Allah-SWT’s knowledge. Partial knowledge or conjectures cannot be termed as knowledge. For instance, a person referring to weather can forecast rain but does not know the volume of water that will pour down. Nor does he know what quantity would absorb where and to what effects. Or the science cannot predict whether an unborn baby will grow up to be pious or wicked, will he be a scholar or an illiterate, rich or poor. It cannot assess how tall or fair the baby will be, or what would be his or her facial expressions. Allah-SWT knows far more, and every drop of water and each feature of the infant is in His-SWT Knowledge. The same limitations attend death and no one knows as to where and when life would bid farewell!
